Bio

Richard joined the University of Leeds in 1998 as a Research Statistician with a specialist interest in epidemiology childhood and young adult cancer. He leads the epidemiological research programme for the Yorkshire Specialist Register of Cancer in Children and Young People and co-leads the national paediatric critical care audit known as PICANet. His current research involves the use of linked data sets to evaluate long-term outcomes, including mental health, educational attainment and treatment toxicity.
