This privacy notice tells you what to expect us to do with your personal data and provides you with details of who controls that information.

How we collect your information?

The information we have about you is provided by you when you sign up to our mailing list or email us.  

How we use your information?

We use the details you provide us with to send you news and information about our programme. We want to tell you about the work we are doing and upcoming events.

How long we keep your information?

We will keep your information on our files for the duration of the programme or until you let us know you no longer want to receive information from us. After this we will delete your information from the programme files within one calendar month.

Who might we share this information with?   

Information that you provide will be accessible to the CHORAL Leadership Team. We will not share your information with third parties.

How do we keep this information secure? 

If you sign up to our mailing list, information you provide will be stored by Mailchimp. You can view the latest Mailchimp privacy notice on their website https://mailchimp.com/.  We will also store your details on University of Leeds secure systems which will be accessible to the CHORAL Leadership Team. 

If you choose to donate, information you provide will be processed by the University of Leeds Alumni and Development Team. You can view their privacy notice here.

Our lawful basis for processing your data  

We will process your data with your consent so we can tell you about our work and relevant news and events that we think might be of interest to you. 

How can I have my data removed or deleted?  

If you no longer wish to be on the CHORAL mailing list, please email choral@leeds.ac.uk

• Withdraw consent at any time, where that is the legal basis of our processing;
• Access your personal data that we process;
• Rectify inaccuracies in personal data that we hold about you;
• Be forgotten, that is you details to be removed from systems that we use to process your personal data;

• Obtain a copy of your data in a commonly used electronic form;
• Object to certain processing of your personal data by us.
