Join us for an inspiring session showcasing two innovative programmes advancing child health and wellbeing across healthcare sessions.
Creative Arts & Health Research Lab (CAHREL) – Professor Persephone Sextou will present innovative research showing how creative arts and digital tools can improve children’s outcomes in hospitals across NHS Settings.
Child Health Outcomes Research at Leeds (CHORAL) – Steph Roberts, CHORAL Programme Manager, will give an overview of the CHORAL programme, themes and opportunities.
Smileyscope – Alexandra King, Clinical Nurse Specialist, will talk about Smileyscope.  Developed by clinicians in Melbourne, Smileyscope is a medical-grade VR platform that is transforming healthcare for children around the world, synchronising immersive virtual reality scenes with real clinical steps, turning moments of fear into calm.
