Erin is a Specialist Paediatric Dentist based at the University of Leeds and the Leeds Dental Institute. She was awarded an NIHR-funded Doctoral Research Fellowship to explore the effect of wider social determinants on children’s dental health and their participation in community-level (midstream) oral health interventions. Her PhD is also in collaboration with the "Born in Bradford" family of birth cohorts, via the Bradford Institute for Health Research.
Her research interests include oral health interventions, oral health inequalities, health data linkage, and, more recently, causal inference methodologies
