Dr. Mike Richards

Mike is a Consultant Paediatric Haematologist at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.  He looks after children and young adults who have non-malignant haematology disorders including bleeding disorders such as haemophilia and abnormal thrombosis, and children with sickle cell and thalassaemia disorders. He was formerly Clinical Director of Leeds Children’s Hospital and Associate Medical Director for Children’s Services in Leeds Teaching Hospitals representing the interests of children and young people within the Trust and in collaboration with external organisations.
