Peter was appointed to a joint academic appointment with the University of Leeds and Bradford Community Dental Service as a Lecturer and Consultant in paediatric dentistry in 2010. In Bradford, his clinical time is spend providing dental care for children with a wide range of complex dental, medical, physical, social or learning disabilities. In Leeds, he focuses on caring for children with complex traumatic dental injuries. He is passionate about developing research capacity, supporting junior academics, and increasing the quality of the research undertaken. He leads an multi-disciplinary research team with a focus on primary prevention, complex interventions and integrated cared across the early-years workforce.
