Richard joined the University of Leeds in 1998 as a Research Statistician with a specialist interest in investigating the epidemiology of childhood and young adult cancer. He now leads the epidemiological research programme for the Yorkshire Specialist Register of Cancer in Children and Young People and co-leads the national paediatric critical care audit known as PICANet. His current research involves the use of linked data sets to evaluate long-term outcomes, including mental health, educational attainment and treatment toxicity.
